Three words I’d use to describe myself are….Passionate, Emotional, and Reflective.

My favorite season is….Winter, I love the snow, and indoor cozy activities that go with the cold.

I knew I wanted to pursue music when.…I started writing songs and singing at 8 years old. I loved expressing myself that way, and seeing people’s reactions when I performed my music.

The first song I wrote was….When I was 8 years old. It was a song about someone’s dad I knew, who passed away after falling asleep at the wheel. It was so sad and I used singing/writing to deal with it.

I find inspiration from….Other artists, on the radio or people I co-write with. It’s always exciting to step into someone else’s head, and write a song about it. I’m also inspired by traveling, and ideas. I also watch a lot of TED talks.

Something I hope to accomplish as a musician is….I want to share and connect with people through music. I feel that’s the lane I can steer through life in and make an impact. I’d obviously love a hit record, but mainly because it would give me freedom to make more music, and connect in a bigger way. I’d like to tour the world making music.

My favorite songs of all time include….

  • ”Natural Woman” – Carol King
  • ”Glitter In The Air” – Pink
  • ”To Make You Feel My Love” – Bob Dylan
  • ”Wonder” – Emeli Sande
  • ”Ateam” – Ed Sheeran
  • ”Imagine” – John Lennon
  • ”Home” - Marc Broussard
  • ”A Song For You” – Donny Hathaway
  • ”A Change Is Gonna Come” – Sam Cooke
  • ”Bridge Over Troubled Water” – Simon and Garfunkle

I’m currently listening to….Emily King, Sia, Ed Sheeran, Massive Attack, Imagine Dragons, One Republic, Gotye, Jesse Ware, and Sam Smith.

Something I learned from recording/creating my debut EP is.…Production can be a bitch, but only because there are so many options, and it’s a good thing, but someone like me can go a little crazy in the head from that. Luckily I surround myself with smart and talented people with the ability to guide the song to it’s best home.

One thing I want you to remember while listening to my music is….These songs are my personal takes on life and hopefully listeners feel inspired from the songs, have the song touch a string that’s relatable in their life, and it helps in some way.

For fun I like to….Ski, hike, hang by the ocean, travel, watch comedy shows, dance like a crazy person at home.

Something odd I want my fans to know about me is….I have a microphone/germ aversion. I bring my own to every gig, and still get creeped out thinking about all the nasty things hiding in there. I’ve been know to Purell the mic head.

My last meal would be….Chocolate.

My favorite words to live by are.… “Let your dreams be bigger than your fears, and your actions louder than your words.”

In the next six months you should expect….More music to be released as singles, and summer tour dates in Europe.
