The following fill in the blanks come from Belgian electro-pop duo, RUN RUN RUN. The duo, comprised of Margot Beerten and Tim De Gieter, formed back in the fall of 2014. Their ethereal sound is influenced by other artists including BANKS, The Weeknd, and TLC. The band’s debut single “Calliope” was released this past December. The story/meaning behind our name RUN RUN RUN is….
MARGOT: There is absolutely no meaning or story behind our name, we genuinly thought it sounded nice.
The pickiest eater is….
TIM : Probably me, since I don’t eat any fruit at all, no seafruit either, the list goes on and on.
MARGOT: Just don’t give me anything too spicy, and we’ll be alright.
The most OCD member is……
TIM : That’s a tough call, I’d say both of us are pretty OCD. I really see it as a blessing, we’ve both got quite a lot of weird behaviour going on which seems to “cancel the weirdness out”. We never have to apologize to eachother for being weird, because it seems to be the standard in RRR.
For fun we like to….
TIM : Use our feet as hands…
MARGOT: And ride unicorns!

MARGOT: I have never agreed more..
We find inspiration from….
TIM : Just everyday things/feelings/relationships with other people. I just try to make something where the vibe of the track reflects how I feel that day, or the feelings that Margot would like to bring across with her lyrics.
One thing we want you to remember while listening to our music is….
TIM : Maybe this is all a dream and one day some dude wearing sunglasses at night while sitting in a red armchair will ask you if you’d rather have a blue pill or a red pill and then all of a sudden you’ll wake up in some kind of fish tank which is actually some form of mechanical womb and then you realize that YOUR ENTIRE LIFE IS A LIE AND YOU HAVE BEEN SOME KIND OF BATTERY FOR THESE MACHINES EVER SINCE YOU WERE BORN AND WORLD IS FUCKED. I don’t know.
The first song we wrote together was…. “Calliope”
“Calliope” is about/inspired by….Bad people not bringing good people down.
Something odd we want our fans to know about us is….Your chances of being killed by a vending machine are actually twice as large as your chance of being bitten by a shark.
If we play another artist’s music it’s….
Tim : Backwards at 33RPM while sacrificing animals in a circle of blood and sand.
Our last meals would be….
Tim : For starters maybe some kind miniature pizza’s, then for mains some spaghetti with fish sticks and a truckload of cheese and hot sauce on top, and finally for dessert a bowl of cereal with extra chocolate flakes on top. You’d bury us smiling.
In the next six months you should expect….
Tim : new material, merch, a video, our frist live shows, Margot finally getting on one of those miniature horses while wearing a sombrero and dancing the macarena with that “Bailando” song playing in the background.
MARGOT: Working on that last part as we speak.
