Belgium-based musician Tim De Gieter recently released a new single titled “Casket.” This track was the second release for De Gieter’s new solo project, Sloth Prince. Separate from the duo RUN RUN RUN, Sloth Prince is influenced by artists such as The Weeknd, Drake, Shlohmo, and PARTYNEXTDOOR.
In late March, Sloth Prince’s debut single “Aurea Caesaries” was released. The unique, dark vibe that “Aurea Caesaries” possesses contrasts the pop qualities of his latest single, “Casket”. Of the two tracks, I prefer “Casket” because of its dynamics and tortured lyrics. The rest of Sloth Prince’s debut EP will be released this coming September.
