Jukebox the Ghost. Cleveland, Ohio.
by Sophie Sand
I met up with Victoria at the Grog Shop on the first Friday of April to see Jukebox the Ghost, with The Elwins, and Front Porch Lights opening.
I love a lot of things about the Grog Shop. Their staff are always nice, they have water on the side of the bar so I don’t have to bother the bartenders, they don’t yell at me (or concert-goers) for climbing on things. It’s a small venue, though, which means their red/blue lights make me want to cry.
While working small venues, my go-to is always just lay on a black-and-white preset.
\\ The Elwins
I originally put my camera away for the rest of their set around this time. But, a few minutes later, their lights guy began changing the reds/blue into greens with a yellow backlight.
So, I took my camera back out in hopes for some color shots.
\\ Front Porch Lights
Victoria and I both recognized this band. It took us a while to realize that we’ve covered shows they’ve opened for quite a few times now.
