Three words I’d use to describe myself are….HONEST, HONEST, HONEST

My favorite season is….A throw up between Summer and Autumn. Summer for the lazy weightless feeling, and Autumn for the colours and sunsets.

The first song I wrote was….I think it was about a motorbike. I wrote it with my best-friend-to-this-day Cara. It was about a motorbike but sung to the tune of ‘row row row your boat’. We also had a spoof of “Men In Black” called “Women in Blue & White”. Because we didn’t have any other colour clothes. LOL

I find inspiration from….People and people’s relationships with each other – the complexities.

Something I hope to accomplish as a musician is….To inspire and write songs that make people feel something.

My favorite songs of all time include….SO MANY SONGS! Two all time faves are “Millionaire” by Kelis feat. Andre 3000 & “You Get What You Give” by The New Radicals. When I was 12 I was obsessed with “Pretty Fly For A White Guy” by The Offspring. Once I counted how many times I’d played it in one sitting and it was something like 37 times – my parents must really love me.

My favorite tracks to play live are….All of the tracks from my upcoming EP are sounding great and feel really really good. I also do quite a haunting cover of “Wondrous Place”, a song released in 1960 sung by Billy Fury – it’s awesome to sing live, really powerful feeling.

I’m currently listening to….Sia – who is amazing.

For fun I like to….Pretend I’m in The Walking Dead. KOORRLLL

Something I learned while working with David Berger on my new EP is…That he’s an amazing dude and we have almost the same vision. The almost part is the fun part!

One thing I want you to remember while listening to my music is….That all the sentiments in the songwriting are real and absolutely felt. Also on my new track #Pins I did a 4 minute take of just playing the triangle on 8ths, which made my arm go fully dead.

Something odd I want my fans to know about me is….I used to speak about myself in 3rd person when I was a baby, calling myself ‘the baby’. When I woke up in my cot I would stand up and shout down the stairs “COME AND GET THE BABY”.

My last meal would be….Cheese on toast

I’m absolutely terrified of….Horror films. I can’t watch them. I can deal with real life fear but not film-fear!

In the next six months you should expect….Lots of show announcements, an EP full of songs and the video for #Pins!
